Panos Iliou was born and lived the first ten years of his life, in a small village in Peloponnese. In '89 he moved to Athens. He formed his first rock band at the age of 16.

He started and completed his studies in modern music (electric guitar, jazz harmony) at the Art Conservatory of G. Fakanas. In his later career as a professional musician, he collaborated with various theatres participating in musicals. He played electric and acoustc guitar in well-know Greek bands such as Nama, as well as with famous singers of the Greek folk and pop music scene.

In 2009 he was successfully admitted to the undergraduate jazz guitar curriculum of the Utrecht Conservatory, where he moved to the Netherlands.

After seven years and with a very active presence in jazz clubs and jazz festivals of the country and after obtaining a bachelor's and master's degree in jazz guitar and music education, he returned to Greece in 2016.

He is currently working as an educator in music schools and conservatories, teaching electric and acoustic guitar, theory, and jazz harmony. At the same time, he participates and creates various musical projects, in a wide range of musical idioms, having an active presence in the Athenian music scene.
